New Community Garden Coming to Frenchman’s Head

A new community garden is being developed in Frenchman’s Head, bringing a shared green space for residents to grow plants and vegetables together.

The garden will be located between the FMH Elders’ Plex and the courthouse. Construction is set to begin this month, with completion expected sometime in May or June.

Community members are being encouraged to volunteer and take part in the project. Organizers are especially looking for people interested in gardening their own plants and helping maintain the space once it is complete.

The project aims to create a welcoming area that supports healthy living, community involvement, and local food growing opportunities for residents.
