Post Majority Support Services
About
The Post-Majority Support Services (PMSS) Department supports LSFN youth and young adults between the ages of 18-25 who are leaving, or have left, the Child and Family Services system after reaching the age of majority.
PMSS is a voluntary program that is designed to support our young people build stability, independence, and meaningful connections. We bring forth individual support while in a safe, culturally connected, and youth-centred environment.
Either you are pursuing education, securing housing, finding employment, reconnecting with culture or focusing on your wellbeing, our team is here to support you with every step.
Who is Eligible?
You may be eligible for PMSS if you:
Are a Lac Seul First Nation community member;
Are between the ages of 18-25 yrs old and have previously been in care;
Are a youth under 18 years old and are either:
Aging out of care
In alternate care
Have signed yourself out of care between the ages of 16 and 17 years old
