All on reserve roads are maintained by Public Works. This includes maintenance on bridges and snow removal.

Public driveways are plowed for a fee.

The main access road falls under the responsibility of the province.

Waste is collected and boxes are provided for storage.

An open put landfill is also made available.

The sewage collection system for FMH offers a plant and disposal system for approximately 110 units.

Septic disposal is available for private homes for a fee.

Each community has an operational water plant that provides clean safe drinking water with licensed water operators.

Each plant has power to continue to provide water during unforeseen power outages.

All band-owned buildings are maintained by Public Works.

Public Works operates a large variety of equipment and trucks such as;

Graders, fire trucks, septic trucks, loaders/backhoes, dozers, snow plows, excavators, gravel trucks, float trucks, skid steers, packer, and regular trucks.
